Bumrungrad International Hospital

Sukhumvit Road, Soi 3 – Nana Skytrain Station (5 minutes from AETAS) This is Southeast Asia’s largest private medical centre and is one of the world’s most popular medical tourism destinations. Lumpini Park

Lumphini Park is located within a ten-minute walk from The AETAS residence and offers great opportunities for jogging, a leisurely walk, and Tai Chi in the early morning. It is the largest and most popular park in Bangkok and features a large artificial lake (rowing boats and paddle boats rental available) surrounded by well-tended lawns, trees, and walking paths. The area is particularly appealing from February to April during the kite-flying season.

Lumpini Boxing Stadium, located near Lumpini Park, features Thai boxing fights every Tuesday and Friday from 6 p.m. onwards and on Saturdays at 5 p.m. There is a dual pricing system for Thais and foreigners.

Angelican Faith – Christ Church

11 Convent Road, Silom (5 minutes’ walk from Sala Daeng Skytrain Station) Christ Church is a parish of the Anglican Church in Thailand. It attracts both English and Thai congregations and the liturgy is Anglican-Episcopal. The current structure was opened in 1905 and has a simple Gothic style. The north aisle boasts the only pipe organ in Thailand. The nave can welcome 175 worshippers on wood and cane armchairs.

Buddhist Faith – Wat Patumwanaram

This quiet Buddhist temple located on Rama I Road between Central World Plaza and Siam Paragon, is easily reachable by Skytrain (Siam Square Station). The well-groomed grounds offer a great opportunity to relax in serene surroundings in busy Bangkok.
